It’s been so long, but looking back at my old tumblr posts, I think it’s tradition to actually check tumblr and write a post about how thankful I am.

So, lately it’s been all talk about buying presents, not having any of “what’s popular”, not having any money, not being able to afford certain things, but that’s all because our society today is based off  the materialistic items, as well as the person having this, having that. I know this because I was one of those people, well sometimes I still am. Just recently I was talking about wanting to get a job to support myself, without even thinking about how hard my parents are working to keep a roof on top of me, food on my plate and clothes to wear. I would never realize this if it weren’t for my lovely boyfriend.

First of all, I’m thankful for being here, thankful for being able to smile every single day without thinking about much problems. I mean, my life isn’t perfect, but what more can I have? I have everything. Literally, everything. I wouldn’t even be here without my mother and my father. I have the best parents ever, sometimes they fight, sometimes they can’t give my sister and I whats in style or the latest thing because it’s just not apart of the budget for now. What’s important is they give us the clothes to wear every single day, giving me a place to live, giving me food to eat, for example, they’re both fighting right now about when to cook the food or how long it’s going to take, but who cares? They love each other and of course they love my sister and I more than anything in the world. My happiness is their happiness, so corny, but so true. I have to say, thank you mom and dad, you guys are so amazing. I don’t know who I would be without you guys because you shaped me into the person I am today. I have to say, thank you for dealing with me and my emotional feelings, hahah, sometimes I’ll cry over the dumbest things or get mad at you guys, I love you guys. I will always love you guys so much. Don’t worry, as parents you did your job, you raised a great daughter, you taught me how to limit myself and prioritize my goals. I love you mommy and daddy-yo. <3 

Second, my family just in general. You guys are always there for me, when I’m down you just know what to do to keep me smiling. (That goes for YOU too Richard, haha, but I’ll talk more about you later) It’s true when they say family is always number one because they’re my number one supporter. Although not all my family is here with me in California, even  from far away, I can still feel how much they love me and I hope they can feel how much I love them too. Thank you for being there for me, I’ll be there to take care of you guys when you guys get older. You won’t be ashamed of me or disappointed in me in the future. I will make you guys even more prouder, I will be so successful all because of the support you guys have given me. Thank you so much, I love you guys. 

Third, my friends of course. My friends, we have the weirdest relationships. Sometimes it’s confusing to me, but I know when I’m down you guys cheer me up as well. In the funniest and weirdest way because it’s strange how without even hanging out with them as much as I should, they still know me so well. They know me so well that they just know what words to say to make my day get better (I swear that’s a lyric haha) Anyways, I’ll always be there for them like they’ve been there for me. I have to say, thank you Sheila Rojomama, haha! You’re all the way in Japan, but please know that you and your family have been like family to me as well. Sofia is like my little sister, makes me laugh constantly when she does the stupidest things or the craziest reactions, PLUS HER LAUGH, haha omg. We have that long distance best friend relationship, but we make it work. Thank you girl, I can’t wait to move in together when we’re in college. We.Can.Do.It. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do, behave yourself, know your limits, but most importantly, make your parents proud, make me proud, be yourself. Don’t be something you’re not because you’re one hell of a great person. I love you rojo mama & I love all my friends in general!

Woo, did I forget anyone or anything?

Richard Dustman Villareal Jr. <3 Ever since August 20th 2010, even before that date you’ve been the best thing that’s ever happened in my life. I’m so thankful to have someone like you. We don’t always agree with everything that’s on our mind, but we make it work. Well, if anything, you’re the person that keeps me on my two feet, when I’m just about to fall, you just know when to catch me, what to say, what to do, even if it hurts, you’re just truthful. Sometimes, I think to myself, do I even deserve you? I’m not the perfect girlfriend, we’re not that whole “perfect” relationship that people would describe or think, but in our own eyes baby, we’re a lot more than just perfect. We’ve been through the craziest obstacles, from long distance, time differences, never getting to see each other, fighting, disagreements, even little break ups but of course those are all temporary and you’re permanent. All those rough times that we’ve had Richard, I want you to know they’re nothing compared to all the positive and good things that you’ve done and even the great things we’ve done together. You give me something to look forward to in my future, you give me the support and care I need to be successful in the future. You’re the reason why I want to be successful in the future because I know for a fact, you’ll be the man waiting for me at the altar. My family has learned to love you and even before they ask me how are you, they ask me “WHERE’S RICHARD?” hahah, they’re just used to you so you’re gonna have to stay Richard. Thank you for dealing with me, even though I can tell you become so impatient with all my bull****, I mean where else will I find the guy who treats me like a princess?  You take care of me honey and I’m so blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for everything you and your family do, please tell them Happy Thanksgiving for me, give them hugs and kisses, remind them how thankful you are to have them in your life. Thank you for everything baby, I love you so much. 

God, I know I don’t always obey the rules, but who does? I know I’m not the perfect person in the world, but thank you for letting me live the best life in the world. Thank you for giving me everything that sometimes I don’t think I deserve. I have the best life in the world and sometimes I take advantage of it. I pray every night thanking you for the life I have, but today, I want to especially thank you for EVERYTHING, you sacrificed your life and little sacrifices that I make everyday don’t come close to what you’ve done for me. Thank you for everything, for everything, literally. I love you so much, you’ve given me the best life I could ever want.

Happy Thanksgiving tumblr, to anyone who reads this. I love all the people who have been in my life, my healthy self, EVERYONE, EVERYTHING. Now, EAT THAT TURKEY AND DON’T FEEL GUILTY (JUST TODAY) skip the work outs, but work out tomorrow, ONCE AGAIN, happy turkey day <3 <3 (:
